Become a Mentor

Thank you for becoming a mentor in the Next Generation Leader (NGL) program! The goal of NGL mentoring is to provide another avenue for up-and-coming IT leaders to connect with seasoned IT leaders, with the focus of building their professional networks and growing their leadership skills. 

From experience you know that the time that you invest with your mentee will also benefit you in numerous ways, including expanding your network, gaining valuable outside perspectives, and reflecting on your own success and career. Through mentoring in NGL, you are helping to build a strong pipeline of innovative, future-ready IT leaders nationwide and we greatly value your contribution.

Thank you in advance for meeting with your mentee three times (about an hour each meeting) over the six month period.

The information and insights you share below will help us pair you with a very fortunate mentee. A mentor profile booklet is compiled and shared with the mentees so that they may choose a mentor who best matches their career path, goals, and interests.
