About the Mentor Program

Thank you for volunteering to be a mentor as part of The TechLX in St. Louis. We value your contribution and know that the time you spend with the mentee will benefit both of you in a variety of ways. As a mentor, you’ll be helping to build a strong pipeline of IT leaders in the St. Louis IT and business community.

Characteristics of a Mentor

CIO or IT leader
Ability to communicate what you know with others
Good listener and approachable
Honest and diplomatic
Genuine, with a sincere desire to help others
Self-reflective
Inquisitive, keeping up on the latest industry trends and the world

Before meeting with their mentors, participants are briefed on their role as a mentee and complete preparation work to get the most value out of the experience.
